| Public Health vonGoins Corporation, Public Health Division is a growing field of study that challenges our consultants to tackle complex health issues, such as improving access to health care, confronting infectious diseases, reducing environmental hazards, reducing violence, chronic disease and international health. The main focus is on disease and injury prevention through behavior and educational interventions, disease surveillance to assess morbidity and mortality and disease control through environmental efforts in populations than individuals. It has been said that “health care is vital to all of us some of the time, but public health is vital to all of us all of the time”. The mission of public health is to fulfill society’s interest in assuring conditions in which people can be healthy. What we do? Provide agency and host country leadership and serve as an expert advisor on technical assistance priorities and strategies in HIV/AIDS and family planning/reproductive health, including the coordination of these with other U.S. Government agencies. Plan, schedule, and assign work to subordinates. Establish guidelines and performance expectations for staff members; provide feedback and periodically evaluates employee and unit performance. Provide advice, counsel, and/or instruction to staff members. Develop, review, evaluate, oversee, and provide technical assistance in relation to the development and management of central projects and mobilizes external technical resources (e.g, grants, cooperative agreements, memorandum of understanding, or other mechanisms for joint endeavors) to achieve Agency and host country objectives in HIV/AIDS control and prevention. Perform work involving the development, proposal, and promulgation of technical standards, guidelines, policies, and formal regulation to protect the environment including technical advice to other government and host nations in the development of standards and regulations.
